I was watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night, and I saw that they have moved into their new studio. Jon called it "futuristic," but it just looks like a more authentic-looking news studio to me. , Instead of having images in a box next to Jon's head, they have them on a more high-tech screen thingy. And instead of a couch, the guest gets to sit in a spiffy office chair that appears to be leather. Anyway, I hope the fame and the new studio and such don't go to his head. It would suck if I had to stop watching...I'd be left with - oh, shit - NOTHING! I'm done with Alias, I think. And it was down to just those two. No TV shows to be addicted to. And that would be a shame.
I appologize for not having more interesting things to say. They didn't have anything or anyone particularly funny on the show.
Oh, and last night was the first Family Night Out for this year at the museum. It went quite well. We had a basket-weaving station, quilting, mosaics, an archeological dig, Sidewalk Sam, Pictures Come to Life, and the Boston Village Gamalon (sp?), which is some kind of Javanese orchestra-type thing. My legs are still kinda tired from going up and down the stairs so many times...I guess I will use the elevators next week. At one of the stations, I helped this kid make a paper basket. Actually, I made most of the basket, and he made a ninja headband. It was fun. My job was to go all around the museum and check in on the volunteers and interns and staff and make sure everyone had what they needed. At the quilting station, we were told that we had to limit the use of scissors...because one of the interns cut herself with a pair cutting up the fabric earlier in the day. So kids weren't allowed to use scissors. It was kinda hard for some parents to accept that fact, and they complained about how they wanted their kids to be able to use the scissors. Other than that, I think everyone had a good time.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory comes out tomorrow. I have, once again, promised Marisa that I would go see said film with her.

i like the new daily show studio too, and jon stewart seems more comfortable, meaning more saracastic, in that studio. i am glad, cause for a while i thought he was acting kind of full of himself, and i'm not down with that. no siree.

But fair enough I guess- I mean you won't exactly see me jumping up and down with excitement on 15 August (India's independence day).
